How do I secure a date?
As a courtesy to our customers, we will place a 72 hour hold on your date with $500. The $500 is totally refundable.
Reservations require a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of $1000 that is applied to the rental fee total. If your event total is less that $1000 then the full amount will be due to secure the date. The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to your event.
How much is the security damage/ deposit and what is it used for?
A separate, fully refundable cleaning/damage deposit of $500 is due 45 days prior to your rental date. If no damage occurs, your cleaning/damage deposit will be refunded within one week after your event. This may be held on a credit card.
A separate non refundable $175 cleaning fee is required 90 days prior to your event.
When do we finalize the details of my event?
We will set up an appointment to review all the details of your event 45 days prior.
Who can I use to cater my event?
You are free to use your own caterer. There is a prep area provided which is included in the building rental. It includes a refrigerator, sink, and table.
All food must be prepared as per the health department regulations. The parties release The Wood’s On Ninth of any liability for food and must sign a food waiver.
We have two kitchens available for rent.
Can I serve alcohol at my event?
Alcohol is allowed. Bar service must be arranged through The Wood’s On Ninth since we have a license with the DBAC. See our alcohol addendum.
What about parking?
We have a large, well lit parking lot with 90 dedicated parking spaces. We ask that you don’t park in front of the Boot Camp as they will tow cars (this is only 8 stalls unavailable) There are additional parking spaces around red brick engineering building.
How can I decorate the building?
You are welcome to decorate. We ask that no tacking, taping, nailing or hanging from light fixtures. No open flames are allowed unless you have a permit from the fire department. Items that are difficult to clean up and cause damage such as confetti, petals, streamers and jewels are not permitted. Bubbles are a great alternative.

What are the requirements for building rental only?
The responsible party will need to set up and clean up, which includes:
Any area used by the party will be swept clean and all garbage will be removed and placed in dumpster. All personal items will be removed. All areas will be swept clean. If kitchens are rented they will be cleaned thoroughly.
The building rental comes with a prep area which includes a sink, fridge and tables. You can contract to rent the kitchens.
